All art sales support my summer publishing projects, primarily for payments to the creative contributors to these ventures (otherwise funded via my teaching salary). Why use Kickstarter? I’ll save that for something major and ready to publish. This is a fairer means of fundraising, to my mind: I’ve got the hands, the head, the heart, the skills; you get original art.

Scars & Six-Guns

Two sketches for sale; both are brush/pen/archival ink with Mean Streak and white out (no marker).

6″ x 9 1/2″ on gray chipboard (also fun to draw on) for the Jonah Hex figure (above), going for $225.00 US plus shipping; 8 1/2″ x 11″ on one-ply vellum (thin, tracing-paper-like stock; wrinkled by use of wash and ink) are the specs on the styling “Young Jonah” casting of silent movie cowboy star William S. Hart as Jonah Hex (below), going for $225.00 plus shipping.

Prices include the tracing paper preliminary pencil sketches and drawings for both pieces, so this is a real bargain—multiple drawings for the price of one.
